London: So, there was a pretty serious incident at London City Airport station. A man sadly died on the tracks, which really threw a wrench in the DLR services.

British Transport Police got the call around 12:45 PM on Monday after reports of a casualty. They rushed to the scene, but unfortunately, the person was pronounced dead shortly after.

Good news is, they don’t think anything suspicious happened. The DLR had to suspend part of its service between Woolwich Arsenal and West Silvertown for a bit.

Even after reopening, there were still major delays reported between Woolwich Arsenal and Canning Town by 4:30 PM. It was a tough day for commuters.

Police mentioned they’ll prepare a file for the coroner, but it’s just a sad situation all around. If anyone’s feeling down, remember the Samaritans are there to help 24/7.
