A11 High Road, Leytonstone: man stabbed; in hospital

A man was stabbed in Leytonstone and taken to hospital.

It was 6.58pm on 31 October and someone had been stabbed in High Road. The London Ambulance Service was called.

As well as the ambulance crews, an incident commander, a tactical response team and paramedics in rapid response vehicles were sent to the scene.

London’s Air Ambulance, a charity that cares for the city’s sickest people, was called in to help people at the scene.

An injured man was found and taken to a major trauma centre.

We do not know what’s wrong with him at the moment.

The A11 High Road is closed in both directions between Crownfield Road and Belton Road this morning.

There have been problems with buses travelling to Walthamstow and Stratford.

The Metropolitan Police have been asked for their opinion.
